Tips & tools: Qualifying customers

Qualifying customers is an important skill for salespeople, and one that needs to be skillfully managed.

Customer qualification is part of relationship management. Good sales people know this and are careful in assessing people’s true needs while not being too quick to “judge a book by its cover.” Being too judgmental can too easily lead to b
ad customer qualification, which damages relationships and can hurt your business.

That’s why it’s important to always treat prospects (and customers) respectfully – whether they fit your buyer demographic or not. Building positive impressions of your business is a moment-to-moment, day-to-day endeavor – and favorable impressions, even by people who don’t wind up being your customer, easily lead to referrals or returning prospects.

Client congrats: L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

We just wanted send our gratitude to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue for inviting us to participate in their annual Food and Products show. 

We really enjoyed getting to meet the franchisees behind their growing success and learn more about L& L Hawaiian Barbecue, which has grown to almost 200 locations in nine states.  We even got the opportunity to announce the Franchisee of the Year, which was based on the results of their Mystery Shopping program with us.  An additional congratulations to the winning franchisees (who tied for first), Temecula, CA and Henderson, NV!
